everyone talking. Built by William Randolph Hearst in 1927
for his celebrity friends, the hotel is an oasis of
European-style elegance in midtown Manhattan. The
celebrity secret of the hotel is that many stars like to
stay at the Warwick. The Beatles always booked the Warwick
because the lobby is small. This means fewer autograph
seekers and onlookers and a quicker escape into the
elevators, if need be. Furthermore, the suites are
enormous and are laid out like apartments, some even have
wrap-around terraces nestled right into the cityscape.
Cary Grant lived in the Warwick with one such apartment
for 12 years. The hotel's residential nature provides
another secret. Because it was originally designed as a
hotel for " friends and family, " the hotel has
very large rooms with spacious closets. Our international
staff prides itself on immediate attention to special
requests. Our multilingual staff, and adjacent garage,
ensure guests enjoy the best of the traditional and

Warwick's newly renovated guest rooms and suites are
unusually spacious. Appointments such as marble bathrooms
and mahogany armoires add a touch of luxury, and amenities
like mini-bars, multi-line telephones, voice mail,
computer dataports, valet, room service, color cable TV.
Non-smoking rooms available upon request. ADA-accessible
rooms are available upon request. Each of our suites
provides a gracious ambience for business or social
gatherings. Many Warwick suites have one-of-a-kind
amenities such as private terraces and overstuffed
